TakeHomePay.ie is an independent Irish website providing free financial calculators for people living and working in Ireland. The data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988โ€“2018 is TakeHomePay.ie, based in Ireland.

2. What data we collect

Calculator inputs

All calculations on TakeHomePay.ie โ€” salary, VAT, mortgage, pension, freelance and BIK โ€” are performed entirely within your browser. We do not transmit, store or process any figures you enter into our calculators. No salary, income, property price or other financial data you enter is ever sent to our servers.

Usage data (analytics)

We may use Google Analytics to collect anonymised information about how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, device type, and general geographic location (country/region level). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information.

Advertising data

TakeHomePay.ie displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. We do not store calculator inputs. Contact emails are retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and are then deleted. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' default retention settings (26 months).
